Cape Peninsula Technical
Three to five days of the Cape Peninsula's best advanced singletrack, from Table Mountain and Silvermine to Tokai and Cape Point. For experienced riders who want speed and exposure.
How this trip is run
This is an example trip. It would be run by a local partner operator and booked through Cape Line Co. The days, lodging and price are set out in your written proposal.
The trip
A trip worth
booking a flight for.
The Cape Peninsula Technical is the sharpest trip we arrange: three to five days of the Peninsula's advanced singletrack, from Table Mountain's exposed ridgelines to Cape Point's coastal trails, based in the city.
It's built for riders who already know what they want: high-quality technical trail, committed descents, and the kind of views you only get from the Cape's coastal ridges. Not an e-bike trip; the networks here are mostly closed to them.
This is an example of the kind of trip a partner operator can run for you, not a fixed departure. The days above are a sample. Your written proposal sets out the exact trails, guides, lodging and price for your dates.
Sample days
A sample itinerary
A late-afternoon ride on the trails below Table Mountain to check bikes, pace and line choice before the big days.
Fast, technical descents on exposed sandstone with views of both coastlines. The day that confirms the grade.
Coastal trail towards Cape Point with sand, exposed ridges and sustained descents.
Tokai's fast forest trails and a climb over Constantia Nek. Optional fifth day for a second lap of the favourites.
